KENT 4-H Camryn Arnold competed in the virtual District 3 4-H Fashion Storyboard contest. The theme this year was "Reinventing Fashion with History." Camryn placed 1st in the Junior Accessory division.
The Spur boys track team continued their winning ways for 2021 by capturing the Area championship and advancing 10 competitors to the Regional Meet, slated for next week in Levelland at South Plains College.

The Gamma Eta Chapter of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International held its final meeting of the school year at the Lubbock Christian University Library. Thirteen members enjoyed a meal provided by the Lubbock Hostess Group.
BATON ROUGE, LA. —Avery Tanner of Spur, Texas, was recently initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation-s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Tanner was initiated at Angelo State University.
Patton Springs ISD competed in seven events at the area track meet last week in Post, where they finished in the top three of all their events and will advance all competitors to the Regional Meet at South Plains College in Levelland April 26–27.
