ASPERMONT NOW IN AREA DISTRICT The Aspermont Hornets will join the Jayton Jaybirds and the Patton Springs Rangers in a newly configured District 5-1A, D2 football district. The last time any of these teams faced each other was September 2, 2021, when Jayton defeated Aspermont 45–0.

PLAYOFF BOUND The Spur Spurettes have finished as district runners-up to the Jayton Lady Jays and will either play O’Donnell or Petersburg in their playoff game. Both Petersburg and O’Donnell are tied at 6–3 right now in district.
