The Spurettes and Bulldogs competed at the Area track meet in Post last week. The girls accumulated enough points to be Area champs, and the boys finished in 3rd place.

The Jaybirds and Lady Jays were runners-pp last week at the District track meet in Hamlin, with a number of athletes qualifiying for the Area meet. The Area meet was set for Tuesday in Hamlin (results unavailable at press time).
The Patton Springs tennis team excelled at their tournament last week, with everyplayerscominghome with a medal. Results were: Tory Childers and Diezel Ramirez, 1st place, mixed doubles; Kiarra Salas and Colton McCoy, 2nd place, mixed doubles; Kayson Chandler and Jet Ramirez, 3rd place, boys doubles; Emma Schaffner, 1st place, girls singles; Shonna Salas, 1st place, girls singles; and Eli West, 3rd place, boys singles. | COURTESY PHOTO

The 2025 golf season has finally arrived! The first Tuesday evening scramble teed off on Tuesday, April 1 In spite of the high winds and blowing dust, 7 people showed up to play and two teams were formed.
