Estella Garcia Barron, 1945–2022

Estella Garcia Barron, age 77, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2022.

She was born June 11, 1945, in Edinburg, Texas, to Trindad and Wencelado Garcia. She spent many years in the Rio Grande, Spur, and Lubbock. She was a caring wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, cousin and friend.

Estella was an amazing woman who led an extraordinary life. She was a kind, quickwitted, and lovable woman. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in the Wayland Baptist University class of 1988.

Estella was a well-respected, dedicated worker, who never complained. She was a member of Toastmasters and a mentor to many. Estella en joyed cooking and spending time with her family, whom she loved unconditionally. She had an endless ability to find happiness in life’s simplest pleasures. She found the secret to unending optimism. Estella encouraged and impacted many people’s lives, she will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

Estella is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Randolph Barron Jr.; daughter, Catrinna Vasquez and husband, Dom; son, Christopher Barron and wife, Lisa; honorary daughter, Victoria Aguilera and husband, Michael; grandchildren Brandi, Baron, Ashlee, Annalyssa, Alberto, Keir, Haley, Brendan, Zeppelin, Isaac, Zayla, Danni, Zage, Zeven, Grace and Steven; 10 great-grandchildren; 9 siblings; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She will join her two sisters Elida and Emma, her brother Albert, her father and mother-in-law, Randolph Barron Sr. and Sofia, and her daughter Corinna in heaven.

A celebration of Estella’s life was held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home– Rockwall location. A memorial service will be held in her final resting place in Spur, Texas, at a future date.
