Shirley Tucker Reese, 1835–2022

Shirley Tucker Reese, 86, of Plainview, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at College Heights Baptist Church, with Mr. Jeff McLain officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.

Shirley Tucker Reese was born July 29, 1935 in Memphis, Texas, to JC and Eula Mae Spruill. She worked as a school teacher for 52 years. She was an avid golfer and fisherman.

She is survived by her cowboy companion, Beryle

Robertson; daughter, Lana McLain; sister, Gloria Jean Heath; sister-in-law, Sandy Spruill; daughter-in-law, Tracy Davis; three grandchildren, Billy Jim Tucker, Kaci Searsy and Kelli McLain; eight greatgrandchildren, Dylan, Kelsea, Slade, Drue, Heath, Caden, Jett and Jaxon.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jim Tucker; her parents; one brother, Bobby Spruill, and two sisters, Jo Robinson and Wanda Jones.
