Winnie Hunnicutt, 82, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 in Greenville. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jim Gatliff officiating. Visitation will be 1 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in D/ FW National Cemetery at 11 A.M., Friday, June 22, 2018. Mrs. Hunnicutt was born in Stuttgart, Germany on March 27, 1936 to Paul Seibold and Luise Schroff. She married Charles Truett Hunnicutt on March 26, 1960 at Girard Baptist Church in Girard, Texas. She was the Food Service Director for Greenville Independent School District for 18 years and a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for 52 years and singing in the choir most of those years. She was an avid nutritionist and exerciser, walking almost every day. She is survived by her husband, Charles Truett Hunnicutt of Greenville; son, Steven Hunnicutt and wife, Charina of Dracut, MA; daughter, Cheryl Hunnicutt of Dallas; and brother-in-law, Ken Faust of Harrisburg, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorle Faust.
