Jayton stampedes Wilson Mustangs

Due to a home scheduling conflict for opponent Wilson, the Jayton Jaybirds wound up hosting the Mustangs for their third straight game. In response, the Jayton junior class took the initiative and opened their concession stand with new and refreshing items for spectators.

Rangers vs Bobcats:

The Patton Springs Rangers faced off against the Rule Bobcats this past Friday for what would be their third game of the season. Rule would start the game off coming on strong scoring 4 consecutive Touchdowns back to back, seemingly shutting the Rangers out.

Spur Junior High beats Motley Co.; Spur JV falls to Valley

The Spur Junior High Bullpups won against the Motley County Junior High Mavericks September 10 by a score of 51-33. Margarito Pesina had a big game, scoring multiple times. The Spur Junior Varsity lost to the Valley Junior Varsity September 9 by 1 touchdown, 20–13.

2–0 Bulldogs fall to Motley County

The Spur Bulldogs suffered their first lost of the season last Friday night as the No. 1–ranked Motley County Matadors came to Jones Stadium.

Patton Springs succumbs to Wildorado 46-0 Thursday

The Patton Springs Rangers traveled to Wildorado Thursday night to face off against the Wildorado Mustangs on their home turf. Wildorado is in the Texas Panhandle, halfway between Amarillo and Vega, 168 miles from Afton—a two-and-a-half hour school bus ride. The game kicked off at 7 p.m.
