The O’Donnell Eagles may have finally revealed the blueprint for stopping the Bulldog offense—lightning. Friday night’s contest began with a 30-minute lightning delay and Spur was leading 21-6 at halftime when the game was called due to the storms.

Jaybirds dominate Gorillas in homecoming game

The Jayton Jaybirds were dominant during their homecoming game as they defeated the Trent Gorillas 58 to 0. The Jaybirds, now 3-2 on the season, were able to handle the Gorillas on both sides of the ball, refusing to allow their opponents an opportunity to gain ground.

The Patton Springs Rangers met up with the Spring-lake-Earth Wolverines in Crosbyton on Thursday, Sept. 27. The atmosphere was intense from the beginning, as the game was to be played as 6-man football in the first half and 8-man football in the second half.
