STONEWALL Aspermont 4-H fall extravaganza set for Oct. 31 ASPERMONTz—The Stonewall County 4-H Family Fun Night Fall Extravaganza Dinner is set for Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Stonewall Community Center.

JAYBIRDS ADVANCING TO REGIONAL CROSS-COUNTRY MEET. The Jayton JH boys’ team swept the District meet, taking first through fifth places, in Spur on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. The junior high boys placed first in team competition.

COURTESY PHOTOS BULLDOGS TAKE DISTRICT: The Varsity Spur Bulldog team won the district cross-country track meet last Tuesday in Spur. Varsity Spurettes team took 3rd place, and the JV Spurettes team took their district championship as well.

Eagles prey on Rangers

The Patton Springs Rangers traveled to Southland last Friday night, Oct. 12, 2018 to face off with the Eagles for their homecoming game. The Rangers were coming off of a bye-week looking to steal another homecoming for the season.

The theme for the 2018 Kent County 4-H Food Show, scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Jayton Community Center, is Restaurant Re-Creations. Each participant will choose one of their favorite restaurant dishes and create a healthier version.
