BULLDOGS VS. DRAGONS, 67–56; MOVE TO 5–0 FOR SEASON Spur’s varsity football squad traveled to Paducah Friday, Sept. 27. Week five of the preseason was a phenomenal game against the Paducah Dragons, ending with Spur on top in week five, 67-56.

DICKENS 4-H HONORS Paisley Smith, Hallie Irons and Maddee Foster, joined by Kallie Johnson of Hunt County, were the Reserve Champion team at the APHA Equine IQ horse judging contest last week. Smith was 3rd in reasons, 4th in performance, 7th in halter and 6th overall. Irons was 6th in halter and top 20 overall. Foster was top 10 in reasons and top 15 overall. | COURTESY PHOTO
