CROSBY New barber shop opens in Ralls RALLS—A new barbershop has opened in downtown Ralls, and last week the Ralls Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Main Street Barber Shop: Haircuts and Shaves.

JGISD begins discussions about adding baseball at monthly meeting

In the regular monthly meeting of the Jayton-Girard Independent School District board of trustees on April 19, discussions began about the school adding baseball as a UIL sport. No action was taken on adding baseball at this time.

Early runoff voting ends Friday

AUSTIN— Early voting in the May 24 primary runoff elections ends Friday, May 20. Under state law, voters who cast ballots in either party’s primary election must vote only in the same party’s runoff election. Voters who did not cast ballots in the primary may vote in either party’s runoff election.

AUSTIN— Texas voters overwhelmingly approved two proposed amendments on Saturday that will provide property tax relief to homeowners.

Kent court reports reinvestments in April; considers nursing home matters in executive sessions
