Robert E. Hall, 1947–2020

JAYTON—It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert E. Hall. He died on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas, after complications of a severe stroke. Robert was 73 years old.

Valene Schmidt, 1948–2002

Valene Kay Taylor Schmidt was born March 9, 1948, in Crosbyton, Texas, to Jonah Taylor and Catherine Nina Webb Taylor. She was a loving wife to her husband, John Randle Schmidt, for 55 years. They were married on August 6, 1965, and had two children.

Tommy Dale Lyles, 1946–2020

LUBBOCK—Tommy Dale Lyles passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. in Lubbock, Texas. He was born in Stony, Texas, to O. K. and Lila Lyles on December 22, 1946. Tommy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing golf.

Lucy Lee Browning (Webb), 1947–2020

Lucy Lee Browning (Webb) went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2020, at the age of 92. Lucy was born on April 1, 1928 in Brownfield, Texas, to George Purl, Sr. and Myrtle Iowne Webb. She was the twelfh of 13 children. Lucy married Delmer C. Browning on April 5, 1947, in Clairemont, Texas.

Jennette M. (Sawyer) Seaton, 1939–2020

JAYTON—Jennette M, (Sawyer) Seaton, 81 passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2020, at home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020. at Hobbs Cemetery. Born March 20, 1939, in Fisher County, Texas, Jennette was the daughter of the late Frank Hiram and Bertha Sawyer.

Mattie Eloise (McKeehan) Hilton, 1944–2020

LUBBOCK—Mattie Eloise (McKeehan) Hilton passed away October 31, 2020, in Lubbock, Texas. The family held a visitation on Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home in Rotan, Texas. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m.

Jeannie C. Moore, 1951–2020

Jeannie Moore joined the angels in heaven on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the age of 69. Funeral services were held Saturday October 24, 2020, at Spur Memorial Cemetery Chapel at 2 p.m. with Kermit Woolley offciating. Visitation was held Friday evening, October 23, 2020 from 6 to 7 p.m.

Juddie Adams Holly, 1937–2020

AMARILLO—Juddie Adams Holly, 83, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020, in Amarillo. She was born on March 14, 1937 in Dickens, Texas, to the late Howard Franklin McKnight and Juddie Irene McCarty McKnight. Juddie was married to Clarence Adams, Jr.

Antonio “Tony” Rodriquez, d. 2020

Antonio “Tony” Rodriquez left this earth on September 11, 2020. Tony was preceded in death by his parents Ramiro “Ray” and Carmen Rodriquez. Tony was born and raised in Spur, Texas. Tony started his lifelong career even before graduating high school, when he joined the Spur EMS services.

Alice Cantu Garcia, 1958–2020

LUBBOCK—Alice Cantu Garcia died peacefully in Lubbock, Texas, on September 29, 2020, at the age of 83. Alice was born on December 14, 1936, in Donna, Texas, to Samuel and Hermenia Cantu. Alice married Margarito “Joe” Garcia on November 29, 1958.
