Rangers defeat Eagles 59–44

The Patton Springs Rangers varsity football team faced off against the Southland Eagles Friday night on their home turf. After getting swept by the MC Matadors last week, the Rangers were back and ready to defend the home front.

Patton Springs posts 1st 6 weeks honor rolls

The following students enrolled in Patton Springs School earned “A” Honor Roll for the 1st 6 weeks of the 2020–21 school year. First grade: Ashton Barker. Second grade: Aubrey Crawford, Branson Freeman, Tucker McCoy, Keira Munoz. Third grade: Jayden Sale. Fourth grade: Wyatt McCoy.

Sports Views: It’s Time for the All-Name Team

GREENVILLE, TEXAS—It’s time once again to announce my semi-annual All-Name Team. The names of these athletes just happened to catch my eye. I type thousands of names per year for stories and statistics and what not and every now and then there’s a name that just makes me stop and smile.
