Spur graduates King, Tanner named to Angelo State dean’s list for fall semester

SAN ANGELO— Savannah King and Avery Tanner of Spur each earned a spot on the fall 2019 dean’s list of Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. To be eligible for the ASU dean’s list, full-time undergraduate students must maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.

On Saturday, four student-athletes on the Jayton Jaybirds 2019 varsity football squad were named to the All-State First and Second Teams in Region I Six-Man, 1A-D2. Ten were earlier recognized on All-District and All-Region First and Second Teams.
